BrowserStack Test Management does a lot well, and its Jira, Azure DevOps and GitHub integrations reach further than ours. The reasons teams look elsewhere are usually about how it is packaged and priced rather than what it can do.
BrowserStack’s test case generator runs on Team Ultimate, and Team Ultimate is quote-only. Team and Team Pro get three months free, then it stops. QA Sphere includes AI writing, bulk generation and screenshot conversion on every plan, with the credits included in the price.
Hiring a sixth tester moves you from the 5-user pack to the 10-user pack: $199 a month on Team instead of $99, billed annually, for one extra person. QA Sphere is $12 per user, so six people cost $72. Viewers are free either way.
BrowserStack’s free plan gives you more people and more room: 5 users and 10 GB, against 3 users and 1 GB on ours. It leaves out the day-to-day pieces, though, such as custom fields, shared steps and uploading results from CI. QA Sphere includes those.
A Team plan comes with 50 GB for attachments, where QA Sphere Standard has 200 GB. BrowserStack allows 300 API requests a minute shared across your whole group; QA Sphere allows 20 a second for each user, which starts to matter once CI is posting results.
SSO sits in BrowserStack’s Enterprise column, and company-wide 2FA enforcement with it. Audit logs and webhooks are still marked Upcoming. QA Sphere has 2FA and webhooks on every plan, and SAML, SCIM and the audit-log API on Business.
Export test cases to CSV folder by folder (BDD cases can also be exported as .feature files), and download Detailed Reports as CSV if you want to keep run history — BrowserStack caps report CSVs at 20,000 rows. Send us a sample export and we’ll check the columns with you on a quick call.

Historical results are handled separately: download Detailed Reports as CSV (BrowserStack caps report CSVs at 20,000 rows) to keep as a record, and ask us to scope whether past runs should be imported into QA Sphere. BrowserStack’s documentation does not say whether attachments are included in its CSV export; its API exposes per-attachment download links, so we validate this on your sample export and plan attachments separately if needed.
It depends on head-count and plan. QA Sphere Standard costs $60/month for five paid users, $72 for six and $300 for 25. BrowserStack’s corresponding monthly equivalents, billed annually, are $99/$199/$499 on Team and $199/$399/$999 on Team Pro, because the sixth user requires the 10-user pack. Billed monthly, BrowserStack’s 5-user pack is $149 (Team) or $249 (Team Pro). Ongoing AI authoring on BrowserStack needs Team Ultimate, which has no published price, once the 3-month complimentary period on Team and Team Pro ends. Packs above 25 users and Team Ultimate or Enterprise pricing are not published.
Yes. BrowserStack’s pricing table lists seven AI agents — Test Case Generator, Low-Code Authoring (which works with the separate Low-Code Automation Pro plan), Test Data Generator, Test Failure Analysis, Test Deduplication, Test Selection (marked Upcoming) and Test Case Maintenance — with differing availability and product dependencies. The generator accepts prompts, files and screenshots, plus Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence and Figma context. Its documented limits include five files or five Confluence documents per prompt, and one Jira or Azure DevOps ticket per session. The generator is checked for Team Ultimate, complimentary for 3 months on Team and Team Pro, and not listed on the Free plan. QA Sphere includes AI test writing, bulk generation, screenshot-to-test-case and AI-drafted bug reports on every plan, metered as AI credits — limited on Free, extended on Business.
Yes, both are official. BrowserStack’s MCP server covers Test Management tools such as creating test cases and runs and retrieving test plans, but using them requires a Test Management licence, and its GitHub README notes that the file-based bulk generation tool is not available in Remote MCP. QA Sphere’s MCP server is hosted, needs nothing installed, and is included on every plan, including Free.
QA Sphere integrates natively with Jira Cloud, GitHub and Linear, sends notifications to Slack, and offers outbound webhooks. Azure DevOps, GitLab and other trackers are connected through the custom issue-tracker integration, which links issues by ID and URL pattern. BrowserStack’s native tracker list is broader — Jira Cloud and self-hosted Jira, Azure DevOps, GitHub, GitLab, Linear, Asana, ClickUp, Trello and DevRev — so if you rely on a deep Azure DevOps sync, ask us about the custom integration during your trial.
In BrowserStack, any user can enable two-factor authentication on their own account, but organization-wide 2FA enforcement and single sign-on (SAML or Google OAuth) are Enterprise features, and audit logs and webhooks are marked “Upcoming” on the Test Management pricing table. In QA Sphere, 2FA is included on all plans and Google sign-in on all paid plans; SAML SSO, SCIM, 2FA enforcement and the audit-log API are part of the Business plan.
On BrowserStack’s paid plans, yes — the pricing table lists free unlimited Viewer role users on Team, Team Pro, Team Ultimate and Enterprise; the row is not listed on the Free plan. QA Sphere gives unlimited free read-only users on its paid plans.
